If ASEAN-BAC is allowed to be a co-driver of ASEAN integration and can drive change relevant for businesses in ASEAN then the original AEC promise land just might be realised.

The epicentre of change in Malaysia over the last few years has been the 1MDB crisis. It has shaken the foundations of Malaysian politics, economics, institutions and business.

For this talk, I’ve been asked to share my experience in growing and leading CIMB. I’m going to be a bit personal and share with you some of the lessons I’ve learnt as a leader.
